Physik Instrumente (PI) Welcomes Beate van Loo-Born as Chief Financial Officer

The PI Group is pleased to announce that as of January 1, 2025, Beate van Loo-Born has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Together with Markus Spanner, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and Florian Geistdörfer, Chief Operating Officer (COO), she completes the Executive Board, which will focus on implementing the group’s strategic vision and driving sustainable, healthy growth.

In her role as CFO, Beate van Loo-Born will oversee a wide range of business areas, including Finance & Controlling, Treasury, Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, Supply Chain Management, Business Architecture, Sustainability, and Human Resources. Her leadership will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s operational excellence and long-term success.

Beate van Loo-Born brings over twenty years of international leadership experience across financial services and data technology sectors. She has a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives, leading global cross-functional teams, and executing transformative projects with measurable success. Her experience spans roles at organizations such as UBS and the Swiss Stock Exchange, as well as philanthropic start-ups, where she has delivered end-to-end transformations.

With her expertise and leadership, the PI Group is well-positioned to solidify its status as an industry leader, realizing its ambitious growth objectives.
